Who we are

Braythorpe Ltd is an independent education support and training business. We support families, schools and the wider sector through guidance, resources, membership support, training and consultancy.

Braythorpe Ltd is the data controller. Our registered office is 60 Tottenham Court Road, Suite 2444A, Fitzrovia, London W1T 2EW. Company number 14431862.

What information we collect

Depending on how you use Braythorpe, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, organisation or school, role, billing information, messages and enquiries, booking information, and information you choose to share about a child or family situation.

Resources and email

When you request a free resource or choose to hear from Braythorpe, we collect the details you enter into the form. Email forms and communications are managed using Kit. Where marketing consent is requested, you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.

Braythorpe Access and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Braythorpe does not receive or store your full payment-card details. We receive information needed to identify the purchase and provide the service.

Enquiries and support

If you contact Braythorpe by email or WhatsApp, we process the information you provide so that we can respond and, where relevant, deliver the service you have asked for.

Why we use your information

We process personal information where it is necessary to respond to an enquiry, perform a contract, meet a legal obligation, pursue a legitimate business interest, protect a child or another person, or where you have given consent.

Children's information

Some Braythorpe work involves information about children. We only ask for information that is reasonably necessary for the work being undertaken. Information may also be shared without consent where this is necessary to safeguard a child or meet another legal obligation. See our Safeguarding Policy.

Who we use to deliver the service

We use trusted service providers where necessary to operate Braythorpe, including services for website hosting, email and forms, payment processing, scheduling, communications, accounting and business administration. At the date of this notice these include Netlify, Kit and Stripe. Other processors may be used where needed to deliver a particular service.

We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide ongoing services, to meet safeguarding or professional record-keeping needs, and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Marketing records are retained until you unsubscribe or we no longer need them.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access your information, correct it, ask for deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, receive certain information in a portable form, and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.

To exercise a data-protection right, use the Speak to Dave button or contact Braythorpe using the details provided when you purchased or enquired. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information has been handled.

Advertising measurement

If you accept advertising cookies, we use Meta to measure Facebook and Instagram ad performance. Meta receives page and successful guide-request events, browser and device information and advertising identifiers. We do not attach your form responses, name, email or information about children to these events. Meta may use this data for its own advertising purposes under its privacy policy. You can withdraw consent using Cookie settings. See our Cookie Policy for more detail and Meta’s privacy policy.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained separately in our Cookie Policy.
